We kwamen dus makkelijk weg. Het Schuitengat is de kortste vaarweg tussen Terschelling en Vlieland, maar het vaarwater is jaren lang verzand geweest. De laatste jaren is de geul echter flink dieper geworden. Zo diep zelfs, dat RWS er de normale laterale groen-rode betonning gelegd heeft. Dat bekort de vaartijd met een uur.<\/p>\n<p>Het was schitterend en rustig weer en we genoten van de tocht. Rond HW kwamen we langs de overvolle jachthaven. We voeren door in de Vliesloot langs de veersteiger en voeren onder de vuurtoren de plaat op. Er is altijd net zo&#8217;n kritisch moment dat je niet allebei aan 1 kant van de boot moet zijn. We liggen dan aan lager wal. Nou valt de golfslag op het wad erg mee, maar wellicht kijken we of er een plekje in de haven te bemachtigen valt.
