Na erg gezellig koffie gedronken te hebben met Albert en Ineke, vertrokken we even na twaalven richting sluis. De sluiswachter deed het \u00e9rg rustig aan en pas een half uur later (na de lunch) konden we invaren. Op het Lauwersmeer was het lekker zeilen met een goede 5 Bft. De oude platen zijn uitbundig begroeid en men heeft er (semi) wilde runderen en paarden uitgezet, die vreedzaam samenleven en verkoeling zochten aan de waterkant. Want warm was het! En benauwd. We hielden de buienradar goed in de gaten, maar de meeste buien zaten in het zuiden. Helaas, want die bracht nog wat verkoeling. Verder is het een heerlijke rustige plek. Inmiddels is het afgekoeld tot een aangename 22 graden en zitten we lekker in de kuip te genieten van de invallende schemering. Mocht er vannacht nog een bui overkomen, dan liggen we hier goed beschut tegen de zuid- en westenwinden.<\/p>\n<p>Voor morgen hebben we nog de keus: of met het late tij naar Borkum en om 2200 uur aankomen, of morgen rustig aan doen en vrijdag vroeg op om met het vroege tij te varen.
