Er stond een forse wind en warm was het niet, maar doordat we erg beschut lagen, smaakte de koffie uitstekend in de zonovergoten kuip. We zeilden door de Folkertssleat naar Eernewoude om boodschappen te doen. Het aanleggen in een van de passanten boxen met 5Bft. zijwind was geen sinecure. Het afvaren trouwens ook niet. We hadden sterkte tegenwind, dus het was motoren. Dat doet je soms terugverlangen naar de North Beach met z&#8217;n keerfok, waardoor je toch iets sneller aan het kruisen slaat. De spoorbrug in Akkrum draaide redelijk vlot. We waren er op het juiste moment: 4 treinen kort na elkaar en dan een tijd niks, zodat de brug open kon. Later appten ze dat ze bij Langweer liggen; we gaan ze morgen in Stavoren bij Caf\u00e9 Max ontmoeten, leuk! Bij Terherne voeren we langs de <em>Noor<\/em>, een Noordkaper, die oorspronkelijk als motorboot gebouwd is en waar later een tuig op gezet is. Weg van alle drukte en lawaai, midden in de Friese veenpolders.
