Gelukkig stond er meer wind dan voorspeld, dus we konden mooi met de stroom mee zeilen langs de kust van Walton en Clacton on sea. Weinig andere zeilboten. Een uur voor we aankwamen begon het te regenen en die regen hield de hele middag aan. 15 millimeter is er gevallen en de temperatuur daalde naar 13,5 graden. Dat waren we niet meer gewend! We zaten dus lekker binnen met een boek. Maar ja, het havengeld moest betaald en de boodschappen gedaan. En hier in Brightlingsea lig je aan een ponton midden in de rivier. De havenmeester had een beetje medelijden. Niet dat het allemaal nog droog wordt in de vochtige lucht, maar dat maakt niet uit.<\/p>\n<p>Morgen blijven we waarschijnlijk nog hier omdat de wind nog te stevig is (maar het is hier rustiger dan in Nederland).
